Successful expert hearing of our cluster initiative automotiveland.nrw – electric mobility is a realistic option to fight climate change! Let’s do it!

The successful introduction of electric mobility depends on more than just vehicle technology. A central building block is the charging infrastructure – noise protection and calibration law are important legal issues. And so are urban planning issues. Or CO2-neutral production. Last but not least, it is important to further train the many employees at the automotive companies so that they will also have a secure job in the future.

The Works Council Chairman of the Volkswagen plant in Braunschweig and representatives of Volkswagen AG, LIDL Germany, EBG Group, APTIV Services Germany, WKW Group and e2go contributed with technical statements to the hearing. Local players such as GWG Wuppertal and the city of Remscheid, the German Red Cross Solingen and the law firm Becker Büttner Held also presented their perspectives.
